SALES TRADER
Department: Institutional Sales & Trading (IST)
Reports to: Head of Institutional Sales & Trading / Head of Trading
Job Description
The Trader will join the IST team to support the trading desk to execute client orders among other tasks. This position is a great opportunity to become a member of the leading institutional Sales & Trading team with #1 foreign market share in Vietnam..
Responsibilities
- Provide trading advice, market trends, news and market colors to clients on a daily basis.
- Receive and execute client orders.
- Actively seek and offer block trades in the market.
- Network and build relationships with clients.
- Assist with the account opening process.
- Complete ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable about Vietnam’s equity market and economy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to express views on client orders and the market.
- Must be proactive, trader will speak to many clients on a regular basis.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage day-to-day tasks both collaboratively and independently.
- Excellent team player with maturity, judgment and sharp decision-making.
- Understanding of and ability to manage confidential information.
- Must have strong English skills (speaking and writing). Trader will communicate with foreign clients most of the time.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a record of high academic achievement.
- 1+ years of relevant prior experience.
- Must have securities brokerage license.
