Reports to: Head of Institutional Sales & Trading

Job Description

Junior Sales Associate will join IST to support the institutional sales desk with a sole focus on foreign investors. This position is a great opportunity to become a member of the leading institutional Sales & Trading team with #1 foreign market share in Vietnam.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales support to the institutional sales professionals.
• Monitor the market in terms of stocks, sectors, flows, performance and macro.
• Proactively cold call potential clients to evaluate their interest in Vietnam’s market.
• Generate market colors and investment ideas.
• Assist in daily operational activities such as scheduling meetings and greeting clients.
• Assist in updating monthly/quarterly presentations and reports.
• Engage with our Research team to gather data.
• Perform ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

• College degree with high achievements.
• 0-3 years of experience in roles interfacing clients.
• Excellent oral/written English and Vietnamese (IELTS at least 7.5 marks).
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Strong with analytics, communication and organization.
• Takes initiative in learning and accepting new responsibilities.
• Detail-oriented and energetic.
