We attended VNM’s AGM on May 21, 2016. Management, and CEO Mai Kieu Lien in particular, received an array of compliments and gratitude from shareholders for the excellent results achieved in 2015 as well as the strong performance of VNM’s share price. The FOL removal was largely welcomed even though a few investors were worried about the potential disappearance of the Vinamilk brand if the company is taken over by foreigners.
