The VN-Index ticked up 0.3% (+4.6 pts) on Monday to close the trading day at 1,376.1. Across the index, there were 212 gainers, 92 laggards, and 63 unchanged stocks. Total trading volume declined from the previous trading day to USD723.5mn.
* In banking, VCB (+0.5%), BID (+0.6%), TCB (+0.7%), MBB (+0.4%), ACB (+0.5%), and LPB (+0.9%) gained. CTG (-0.1%) edged down and VPB and HDB were unchanged.
* In real estate, BCM (+1.9%), KDH (+1.4%), NVL (+1.0%), KBC (+1.1%), PDR (+2.3%), and NLG (+5.4%) surged.
* Noteworthy gainers from other sectors included tech company FPT (+0.8%), basic materials company DGC (+2.8%), industrial companies GMD (+4.5%) and GEE (+2.2%), and retailers FRT (+2.1%) and PNJ (+1.5%).
