The VN-Index ticked up 0.2% (+3.3 pts) on Friday to close the trading day at 1,768.1. Vingroup-related stocks applied downward pressure but were counteracted by strong gains in the Banking sector. Throughout the index, there were 173 gainers, 141 laggards, and 62 unchanged stocks. Total trading volume substantially decreased from the previous trading day to USD664.0mn.
* Vingroup-related stocks VHM (-5.3%), VPL (-2.3%), VIC (-1.7%), and VRE (-1.4%) dropped.
* Banks VCB (+1.2%), BID (+3.0%), CTG (+3.7%), TCB (+1.7%), and STB (+3.3%) surged, among others.
