The VN-Index edged down 0.2% (-3.9 pts) on Friday to close the trading week at 1,683.2. The decline comes after three consecutive trading days of gains. Across the index, there were 111 gainers, 186 laggards, and 64 unchanged stocks. Total trading volume increased from the previous trading day to USD1.1bn.
* Most bank stocks fell, including MBB (-3.2%), TCB (-3.1%), VPB (-2.7%), and STB (-1.9%). In contrast, LPB (+1.8%), CTG (+0.2%), and ACB (+0.2%) gained.
* In real estate, VIC (+1.9%), DXG (+4.2%), BCM (+0.6%), KDH (+0.8%), and NVL (+0.7%) posted strong gains.
* Financial services tickers TCX (-1.9%), SSI (-4.0%), VIX (-6.5%), and VND (-1.5%) plunged.
