Following a decent gain yesterday (+0.5%), the VN-Index edged down 0.2% (-3.4 pts) on Tuesday to close the trading day at 1,773.4. Throughout the index, there were 172 gainers, 158 laggards, and 63 unchanged stocks. Total trading volume decreased from the previous trading day to USD604.6mn.
* In Banking, VCB (-0.8%), BID (-1.0%), CTG (-1.5%), TCB (-1.1%), and VPB (-1.4%) tumbled while LPB (+2.7%) surged.
* Industrials stocks performed well, as GEE (+6.9%), GEX (+1.1%), GEL (+2.3%), VTP (+2.1%), and PVT (+1.5%) sharply rose.
