The VN-Index edged up 0.3% (+6.4 pts) on Friday to close the trading week at 1,915.4. The index saw a net gain of 3.2% (+61.4 pts) for the week after gaining for four consecutive sessions. Across the index, there were 97 gainers, 213 laggards, and 56 unchanged stocks. Total trading volume declined compared to the previous trading day to USD1.0bn.
* In Banking, BID (+3.8%), LPB (+1.2%), and CTG (+1.1%) surged, while VPB (-0.7%) and HDB (-0.5%) dropped.
* In Real Estate, VHM (+1.5%), VIC (+0.9%), and NVL (+3.9%) posted strong gains, while VRE (-1.6%), KBC (-2.6%), and BCM (-0.7%) tumbled.
* Industrials stocks were strong, as GEE (+4.8%), GEX (+6.7%), GMD (+1.5%), and VGC (+1.0%) sharply rose.
* Consumer stocks VJC (-3.2%), HVN (-2.0%), MWG (-1.6%), VNM (-1.0%), and MSN (-1.0%) fell.
