The VN-Index fell six-tenths of a percent as investors booked profits on Wednesday, bringing the index’s eight-session winning streak to an end. Banks VCB (-1.7%) and CTG (-3.3%) were the top two contributors to the day’s loss. In addition, TCB (-2.5%) snapped a three-day winning streak. On the other hand, BID (+0.8%) was the leading contributing gainer; VPB (+1.2%) and STB (+1.4%) also advanced. Insurer BVH (-3.7%) has fallen 6.3% in the past two days.
