The VN-Index gained back most of yesterday's loss, rising 1.47 points, or 0.25%, to 579.49. Shares opened down but quickly moved into positive territory, topping 584 in the afternoon. However, for a third consecutive day, the market faltered late and closed below 580, a level the VN-Index has failed to close above since November 2015. Sentiment was lifted with HAG and HNG quickly moving to ceiling up in the morning and buyers felt confident enough to bid up the large-caps.
