The VN-Index jumped 7.7 points, or 1.4%, to 575.73 on Thursday, snapping a two-day losing streak. GAS led gainers, surging 6.3% on surprise earnings news (see commentary below), its biggest one-day increase since March 7. GAS added 2.7 points to the index and has risen 58% in three months, mirroring a 65% recovery in Brent crude prices during the same period. MSN gained 3.7% a day after falling to its lowest level since December 2010. VIC (+2.0) and VNM (+0.7%) also helped pull the market higher
