The VN-Index gained 1% on Wednesday to reach its highest level since May 18, 2018, as several bank tickers surged and liquidity on HOSE jumped to USD506.2mn. VCB (+3.6%) climbed to an all-time high and was the day’s top contributing gainer. BID (+2.6%) and TCB (+3.0%) also increased. In addition, ACB (+8.1%) jumped on its first trading day on HOSE. PLX (+3.2%) and NVL (+3.6%) advanced to a three-month and two-month highs, respectively.
