Market wrap: VN-Index gains, led by GAS. The VN-Index maintained last Friday’s upward momentum, closing with a 0.27% gain at around the mid-point of the day’s trading range. There was substantial differentiation in performance at the stock level with 158 gainers to 149 losers on the HOSE. Oil and gas tickers had a strong day as Brent crude surged more than 10% after a strike on a Saudi Arabian oil facility removed about 5% of global oil supply.
