Despite a strong morning session, the VN-Index fell in afternoon trading to close down a mere five hundredths of a percent. In terms of market breadth, there were 150 laggards and 110 gainers while 99 stocks went unchanged. Banks struggled with BID (-0.9%), VPB (-2.3%), CTG (-1.1%), MBB (-1.3%) and HDB (-1.7%) all among the day’s top ten contributing decliners. VHM (-0.7%) was the leading contributor to the day’s small loss; however, parent company VIC (+0.2%) and fellow Vingroup subsid
