In contrast to other Asian markets that posted gains, the VN-Index suffered its biggest single-day decline since March 25 and hit its lowest level in more than four months as it fell 1.7% on Thursday. GAS (-6.4%) plunged to a three-month low as it experienced its largest daily decrease YTD. Other petroleum and energy stocks fell, including PLX (-1.4%), POW (-2.4%), PVD (-3.1%) and PPC (-3.5%).
