Following a steep overnight drop on Wall Street, the VN-Index opened trading on Wednesday morning in the red before recovering in the afternoon to close down by just one tenth of a percent. Banks VCB (-0.4%), TCB (-1.4%) and CTG (-1.0%) were the top three contributors to the day’s loss. On the positive side, BCM (+2.1%) posted its seventh straight positive session since becoming listed on HOSE. Rubber manufacturer GVR (+1.6%) has jumped more than 4% over the last two days.
