The VN-Index declined for the second day in a row as it dipped a tenth of a percent on Friday. For the week, the index advanced seven tenths of a percent. VHM (-1.0%) decreased for the first time since October 25 and was the leading contributor to the day’s loss. VRE (-1.6%) and parent company VIC (-0.2%) also retreated. In the banking sector, TCB (+1.2%) and HDB (+1.5%) both rose to seven-month highs. BVH (-0.7%) has dropped more than 2% over the last three days.
