In contrast with yesterday, negative sentiment spread across the market today with the VN30, VN-Midcap and VN-Smallcap dropping 0.9%, 1.3%, 0.8% respectively. Selling pressure intensified toward the end of the day, with mid-caps the main decliners while blue-chips like GAS (-4.7%), VCB (-2.6%), and VNM (-1.5%) further weighed on the VN-Index.
