The VN-Index fell for a fifth day in a row on Wednesday, closing down nine tenths of a percent. VNM (-2.0%) was the top contributor to the day’s loss, followed by CTG (-4.9%), which hit a 13-month low, and HPG (-4.5%), which has plunged 13% over the last four days. Energy tickers also pulled back - led by GAS (-1.6%), PVD (-4.5%), PVS (-3.6%) and PLX (-1.8%) - after the price of Brent crude oil fell to USD56/bbl in overnight trading.
