The VN-Index soared 1.7% on Monday to hit a record high of 1,252.45 while trading liquidity on HOSE surged to an all-time high of USD932.8mn in a smooth trading session that saw minimal congestion issues. VIC (+5.7%) was the leading contributor to the day’s gain, followed by its subsidiary VHM (+2.9%). NVL (+5.9%) continued its hot streak and is now up more than 18% since the beginning of April. Steelmaker HPG (+3.3%) has increased in 11 out of the last 12 trading sessions.
