The VN-Index traded in the green for most of the morning session but lost momentum and, falling to below 670, looked headed for its familiar afternoon swoon when at about 1:45 pm the market sharply reversed, surging 2% over the rest of the day to close at the high of the session, up 8.17 points, or 1.2%, to 682.36.
