After spending the majority of Thursday in negative territory, the VN-Index climbed back in the afternoon until selling pressure in the final 20 minutes of trading caused the index to close down five tenths of a percent. VIC (-0.8%) was the leading contributor to the loss, followed by VCB (-1.0%). SAB (-1.2%) experienced its third straight negative session and dropped to a five-month low.
