The VN-Index gave back yesterday's modest gain, falling three tenths of a percent on Thursday. Banks continued to struggle to find their footing amid heavy foreign selling, led by VCB (-2.2%), BID (-2.6%), CTG (-2.3%) and HDB (-5.8%). CTD (-6.2%) fell to its lowest level in almost two years after the company yesterday guided for a 15% drop in 2018 NPAT. The builder has plunged 46% in the last six months.
