The VN-Index closed down three tenths of a percent following a choppy day of trading. The index has fallen five of the last seven days. Banks were five of the six largest contributors to the day's loss, led by VCB (-1.6%), CTG (-2.6%), MBB (-3.1%), VPB (-2.1%) and STB (-3.6%) amid no apparent news catalyst.
