On Friday, the VN-Index closed down by three tenths of a percent following an overnight plunge on Wall Street. Nevertheless, the VN-Index posted its fifth straight positive week as it gained 2.6% for the week. VCB (-1.5%) was the leading contributing decliner to the day’s loss. GAS (-1.6%) snapped a two-session winning streak. PLX (-1.0%) dropped 2.5% over the past two sessions. VIC (-0.5%) edged down, but its subsidiaries VHM (+0.5%) and VRE (+1.4%) advanced with the latter
