After rising to pass the 992-point mark in morning trading, the VN-Index declined during the remainder of Wednesday’s session to close down two tenths of a percent. For the second consecutive day, VNM (-1.0%) was the leading contributor to the loss. Banks were mixed as CTG (+1.4%), MBB (+1.2%) and BID (+0.4%) increased, while VCB (-0.7%) and TCB (-1.5%) fell. BHN (+3.1%) continued its rise.
