After trading in positive territory throughout Tuesday morning, the VN-Index sank in the afternoon to close down by nine tenths of a percent as investors sold shares in response to a weak GDP reading for Q3 2020. Banks pulled back following their strong gains on Monday. VCB (-1.6%) was the top contributor to the day’s loss. BID (-1.6%), CTG (-2.0%) and TCB (-1.3%) also retreated.
