Despite declining in the afternoon, the VN-Index managed to gain two tenths of a percent on Monday as some banking blue chips increased following the issuing of Decree 121, which allows State-owned banks to pay stock dividends. Banks CTG (+5.2%) and VCB (+1.3%) were the top two contributors to the day’s gain. BID (+1.5%) also increased.
