The VN-Index closed up six tenths of a percent on Wednesday. It was the first time this week that the index experienced a positive session. VIC (+1.7%) saw its first increase in more than a week and was the leading contributor among gainers. VIC’s retail subsidiary VRE (+1.2%) bounced back after falling nearly 3% in the two previous trading sessions. GAS (+2.2%) had its biggest daily increase in almost two weeks. PPC (+4.9%) surged to an all-time high.
