The VN-Index experienced a rough start to December as it plunged during Monday afternoon trading to close down by 1.2%. The index closed at 959.31 points, which was its lowest level since June 28, 2019. Banks especially dragged the market down. VCB (-2.1%) was the leading contributor to the loss as it as it fell to an eight-week low. BID (-2.7%), CTG (-3.2%), MBB (-3.4%) and VPB (-3.2%) also tumbled. VNM (-2.6%) and FPT (-3.2%) dropped to 16-week and 12-week lows, respectively.
