The VN-Index suddenly plummeted in the last 30 minutes of trading to close down 4% — its biggest single-day loss since January 19 — nearly wiping out all of the gains made in June. VHM (-2.5%) was the top contributor to the day’s loss while its parent company VIC (-1.0%) also fell. Conversely, Vingroup subsidiary VRE (+1.0%) regained some ground after plunging to the trading floor on Monday.
