The VN-Index declined throughout Monday’s session to close down by seven tenths of a percent. Large caps particularly weighed on the index as 21 of the 30 stocks in the VN30 Index fell. It was a rough day for most banks with VCB (-2.3%), BID (-1.7%), TCB (-1.8%), CTG (-1.4%) and VPB (-0.9%) all among the session’s top 10 contributing decliners. Conversely, HDB (+1.2%) increased. VNM (-1.8%) and VIC (-1.2%) fell to two-month and three-week lows, respectively.
