The VN-Index enjoyed another strong day of gains, closing up 1.8% on Tuesday. After plunging more than 9% last week, the index jumped 5.6% in the short, two-day trading week. Ahead of the extended Tet holiday break, trading volume on HOSE was modest at USD219mn, well below the daily average of the last month of USD331mn. Large cap names GAS (+4.4%) and VIC (+3.0%) were the top contributors to the index's gain for a second day in a row. Banks were also strong again
