The VN-Index on Tuesday continued its trend of the last four sessions of sharp moves in the opposite direction of the previous day’s results as the index closed up 1.2%. Large caps VIC (+3.3%), VHM (+2.1%) and GAS (+1.6%) were the top contributors to the upswing while banks, led by BID (+2.8%), TCB (+1.8%), CTG (+1.6%), HDB (+4.6%) and STB (+5.0%), also climbed. NVL (+4.3%) extended a 14% surge over the last three days amid no apparent news catalyst.
