The VN-Index inched down three tenths of a percent on Friday, ending a streak of seven positive sessions. For the week, the VN-Index gained 8% — its largest weekly percentage increase since January 2013. VHM (-2.7%) was the leading contributor to the day’s loss; nevertheless, the company’s share price jumped more than 16% on the week. VHM’s parent company, VIC (-1.0%), also declined.
