Market wrap: Stocks grind higher. The VN-Index spent another day trading in positive territory on Friday, closing up three tenths of a percent. The index rose each day this week for a 2.5% gain, bouncing back from last week’s 2.1% pullback. The market was pushed higher by modest gains in a trio of the largest listed companies, namely VCB (+1.8%), VIC (+0.7%) and VNM (+0.7%). FPT (+2.6%) rose to a three-month high after the company reported yesterday that 8M 2018 NPAT-MI jumped 19%.
