The VN-Index rose a half of a percent on Monday as numerous blue-chip stocks gained while trading turnover on HOSE jumped to USD314.8mn. Rubber manufacturer GVR (+6.1%) surged and was the leading contributor to the day’s gain. * MSN (+3.5%) climbed to a one-month high as its trading volume soared to more than three million shares. Banks CTG (+2.0%), VPB (+2.3%) and MBB (+2.3%) increased. POW (+2.8%) has shot up 7.3% over the past four sessions.
