Two consecutive rises of domestic gasoline prices should stimulate August’s CPI. In line with our expectation, the Ministry of Industry & Commerce and the Ministry of Finance lifted domestic gasoline prices for the second consecutive time (the latest adjustment was in July 20) in the periodical price review today following the increases of the global oil prices in the past 15 days.
