The VN-Index fell as much as 2.5% in the morning session but was able to recover in the afternoon to close down just three tenths of a percent on Thursday. GAS (-6.9%) led decliners and has lost a quarter of its market capitalization over the last four days amid investor dismay that an expected Government divestment has been postponed until at least next year. PVD (-6.6%) is down a fifth in the last four days, accelerating a 52% drop over the last three months.
