The VN-Index plunged by a percent in the morning session on Thursday but recovered some of those losses in the afternoon to close off 0.4% for a fourth down day in five. Trading volume in HCMC dropped to USD151 million, below the one-month average of USD180 million. BHN (-6.9%) fell sharply as investors took profits after the brewer jumped 22% to a four-month high over the first three days of the week.
