The VN-Index fell for the first time this week as net foreign selling accelerated to USD10 million on Thursday, the sixth straight session foreigners have net sold the market. VNM (-1.7%), which slid to a one-month low, bore the brunt of the foreign selling. Investor sentiment was also undermined by a sharp sell-off over the last two weeks of the dong, which local media reported fell to as low as 23,000/USD (see our note below for further analysis).
