Market wrap: Stocks climb on Vingroup firms. The VN-Index enjoyed another modest increase on Thursday, closing up half a percent for a sixth straight day of gains. Trading value on HOSE slid to a tepid USD153mn. The Vingroup family of companies led the market higher as VHM (+1.8%) was the top contributor to the day’s gain, followed by parent VIC (+1.0%), the largest listed firm by market capitalization. VIC unit VRE (+1.6%) also advanced.
