The VN-Index had its biggest jump in more than three weeks on Thursday, closing at the high of the session, up one percent, to within less than two points of 1,000. GAS (+4.1%) led gainers, extending a 46% surge in less than two months after the price of Brent crude oil rose 1.5% in overnight trading. PVD (+3.2%), PVS (+5.8%) and PVT (+1.4%) also advanced. MSN (+6.6%) reached a three-month high amid no apparent news catalyst.
