Announcement of September’s CPI could not prevent markets from continuing the downward movement of previous week, both bourses closed Monday session in negative territory. The VNIndex slumped 5.87 points to one month lowest level in a month: 434.43 (-1.33%) with laggards outnumbering advancers by 144:81, of which 34 hit their limit-down. Heavyweight BVH removed 2.16 points from the index with its closing at floor.
