VCSC Daily - Liquidity low as market reopen after long holiday – SBT to raise charter capital

Market Commentary

02 May 2013

Liquidity low as market reopens after long holiday. The market reopened today but retail investors appeared to be still on vacation. Liquidity was low with just 26m shares traded on the HOSE and 15m shares traded on the HNX, both down from an average daily volume of 50m shares. Foreign investors, however were quite busy, accounting for nearly 40% of total turnover value on the main bourse. Foreign net inflow was VND154bn, the highest we’ve seen since April 2nd.
