On Wednesday, the VN-Index fell a half of a percent as many blue-chip stocks tumbled. Notably, the VN30 Index dropped eight tenths of a percent with 23 of the 30 stocks in its basket declining. Trading value on HOSE surged to USD293.4mn, well above the monthly average of USD185.9mn. Several financial stocks dropped, including VCB (-1.3%) and TCB (-1.6%). Meanwhile, BID (+1.9%) was the leading contributor among gainers and has jumped nearly 4% in the last two days.
