The VN-Index rose six tenths of a percent on Monday as investors bought shares of several blue-chip stocks. Notably, the VN30 Index closed up by eight tenths of a percent with 21 of its 30 components gaining. VIC (+2.2%) was the top contributor to the day’s gain. In the aviation sector, HVN (+4.0%) jumped to a 13-week high while VJC (+1.5%) posted its first gain since September 3. Banks VCB (+0.8%), VPB (+1.5%), MBB (+1.7%) and TCB (+0.9%) advanced.
