The VNI closed down at 658.5 (-0.3%) following choppy trading for most of the day as buying was not strong enough to maintain the index in the 665-666 range. Large cap stocks were the main draggers today. The VN30 lost 0.3% while the VNMidcap and VNSmallcap closed in the green. Blue chips also diverged as GAS (-2.4%), CTG (-1.2%) and MWG (-2.7%) took away 2.15pts while HPG (+4.1%), FPT (+1.0%) and MBB (+0.7%)
