Investors get into sell mode, leading into the Tet holiday. The market opened strong today with the VN-Index surging to an intraday high of 548 points in the morning. However, the gains were wiped out in the afternoon and eventually turned to losses by the end of the session. The VN-Index closed down 4.7 points to settle at 540.56 (-0.8%). The large sell orders were mainly attributable to the profit-booking sentiment from investors coming in to Tet.
