Blue chips lift market. The VNI added 1.8 points to close at 385.1 (+0.5%) thanks in part to gains in Kinh Do Corp (KDC) and other heavyweights such as Vinamilk (VNM) and Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAG). The HNI advanced at a faster clip to close at 51.9 (+0.9%), led by slight recovery in banking stocks Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) and Saigon Hanoi Bank (SHB).
